Thank Goodness for the Mall

I normally detest malls.  They sap my wallet dry.  But they’re a necessary evil, like subjecting myself to ROTC to get a university diploma.  Where can I find good movie houses in this Age of the Mall?
Recently, I didn’t know it was one of those big midnight madness sales.  I just went to the mall to buy one pen.  But I was bombarded by more people.  So, to exercise my patience, I walked around witnessing mindless consumerism at its finest.

If I had lots of money, you won’t see me going to these places and emerging with shopping bags whose contents cost more than a factory worker’s minimum wage for 7 months.  Sure, it would be nice to have purchasing power.  But I’m the type of guy who wears my high school shirts because they still fit me.

But of course, there are always hidden gems in the mall.  Like this wonderful sign:


Ahhhh…..don’t you love the dumbing down due to the mall indoctrination?
